Murano Glass Klimt Inspired ART Jewelry
Inspired by Gustav Klimt’s The Kiss, painted during the “Golden Period” (1907-1908), this collection combines art and jewelry in one breathtaking form. The Gianna Seca Klimt Kiss Collection features Murano glass beads fused with thin 24 KT gold and Sterling silver foil leaves, echoing the richness of Klimt’s original work. Necklaces, earrings and bracelets are all handcrafted and unique-some painted with the gold foil on the exterior resulting in a discriminating texture. Due to its uniqueness and cost of materials, this collection is limited and not widely available.
sourcing our materials
Gianna Seca Jewelry uses only genuine Murano glass beads, created by small, family owned artisan companies in Italy. These artisans, based in Venice, continue to practice centuries-old glassmaking traditions. Many beads are hand-or mouth-blown. We have proudly worked with one trusted distributor- a small female owned company since 2009. Our precious metals (chains and findings) come from the US and Italy- purchased from a small family business in Toronto, Canada. The crystals used are made in Austria.
CARING FOR YOUR MURANO JEWELRY
Avoid contact with chlorinated water, harsh chemicals and dyes. Clean gently with a mild soap and water- drying with a very soft cloth. Always wipe the metals after wearing to remove skin oils. If earrings have rubber stoppers- remove them and store separately (rubber accelerates tarnishing).
