In 2013, a beautiful little boy came named Bennett came into this world. Over the years, he had many procedures at the SickKids Hospital in Toronto, Canada.

In 2015, I learned about the Bravery Bead Program at SickKids, run entirely by volunteers through the Women’s Auxiliary (WAV). Every time a child goes through a procedure, treatment, or surgery, they earn a precious bead for their necklace. Years later these brave little souls still cherish them and display them proudly-each bead representing strength, courage and their journey.

That same year, I designed, created, and sold fundraising jewelry to support the department, and raised a meaningful amount for the program. I continue to do this today. I donate a portion of my profits from every purchase of my jewelry.

In 2017, I became an official donor and created my own SickKids donation page. I am proud to continue to be an active donor and supporter of this amazing program.

2026- A new donation page is being created and will be available soon!
