About the designer

My name is Gianna Seca. I was named after my paternal grandmother. I am an Italian-Canadian born to immigrant parents, and my heritage has always been very important part of my life. Growing up, I was fortunate to visit Italy often, and fell in love with the beauty, artistry, and atmosphere of cities like Venice and Florence.

Those memories continue to inspire me today.

I began designing jewelry in 2012 after creating pieces for a fundraising event supporting Toronto’s SickKids Hospital for children. The response was overwhelming, and what began as a creative passion quickly became something much more meaningful.

Today, I specialize in handcrafted Murano glass jewelry inspired by colours, artistry, and elegance of Venice. I work with authentic Murano glass sourced from Italy along with 925 Italian sterling silver, KT gold accents, and fine Austrian crystals to create pieces that feel artistic, timeless, and unique.

For me, jewelry has always been more than fashion. I love creating wearable art that feels personal-pieces that can be worn casually, elegantly, or collected as small works of art.

Giving back is also close to my heart, and supporting children’s hospitals and charitable causes continues to be an important part of my journey.
